Anyone else watching this? I'm three episodes in and I'm really grooving onto it. It's basically if John le Carré decided to futz around with alternate timelines. It's got a great atmosphere, and Simmons is excellent in it. It's also got a strong supporting ensemble (Olivia Williams, Stephen Rea, Kenneth Choi, and Harry Lloyd, among others), but J.K. is the real draw.

I keep having this pop up on my Roku, but never gave it a shot.
I guess I may give it a try after I'm done with Sneaky Pete S2 and Better Call Saul S3 (just got added to Netflix. woot woot).

I’m loving it. Each episode just gets better. Lots of twists and turns without feeling contrived. And it’s nice to see J.K. Simmons finally in a meaty post-Oscar role. Really intrigued to see how the finale is because the end of episode 9 was pretty freaking crazy (in a good way).

I really liked it and I'm so curious to see where it goes from here. Williams was so, so good -- really strong cast over all. The mood and atmosphere is great.

WHAT?! ...WHAT?!?!?! Mother fuckers, I don't want to wait for more. I FUCKING TOLD YOU. I must say, I was cursing your name after the first two episodes because the only thing I was thinking the whole time was "this better not be like fucking Mr. Robot, I swear..." But once I accepted the whole universe of the show, I was immersed... once I got over the fact that the guy playing Ian looks EXACTLY like a black Dexter Fletcher. Even sounds like him, it's uncanny. BUT THEY KILLED OFF ALDRICH!

Harry Lloyd and Kenneth Choi are becoming favorites. Lloyd and Schiff for me. This is probably one of the few shows with a substantial main (or at least prominent recurring) I've seen in a long time without someone I disliked. Everyone is at least serviceable (most are good to great).

For me, I started it off because I was all, "Oooh, Simmons is pulling a Dead Ringers." But it wasn't long before I realized, as excellent as he is in both parts, he might not even be in the top three performances/characters of the thing. Betty Gabriel (from Get Out) joined the cast for Season 2. Very curious to see what she can do. Next up: check out Hard Sun. Some excellent performances really hold up an intriguing but ultimately dodgy premise.

His light world Harry is a much showier piece than his dark world, which also kinda makes it difficult to place him,

Nice Howard is awesome, though. I'd argue that Nazanin Boniadi snuck in at the last second to take the crown from Williams.

Which is weird because I only knew her as Nora from How I Met Your Mother.

James Cromwell just signed up to Season 2. Well the good thing is that that 7' bastard won't be able to fit through The Crossing.
