Any fans? I did follow him in his wrestling career but dude has stolen the show in every film I've seen him in. MVP of Guardians in my opinion. Hope he has more success just to stick it to WWE who thought Guardians would flop and he would come back with his tail between his legs.

I think he's shaping up to be a strong actor. He's got a surprising amount of screen presence, but he also possesses gravitas. I think he's a more well-rounded actor than, say, Dwayne Johnson (the most successful wrestler-turned-actor), as Bautista has shown an aptitude for both comedy and drama. I think his performance in the Blade Runner short he did was a pretty damn good reel that proved he could probably carry a drama if he wanted to. I'd also argue he was the one thing about Spectre that was pretty well perfect: he made a great villain without being given much to work with.

He's proven to be a solid actor. He brings a lot of surprising pathos to the role of Drax in Guardians, and is a big part why those films work as well as they do. I also liked him a lot in his small part in Blade Runner 2049.

I don't follow wrestling at all but he is a legit good actor and happy for his success with GotG . Also will echo the comments saying he was great in his small role in BR2049 .
I look forward to seeing him in more stuff

He seems pretty good so far. I have to give him props for being the most memorable thing about GOTG 2. He definitely added some much needed life into that one. As others have said, he was more than solid in Blade Runner 2049 too. I feel like he has to potential to be seen as Dave Bautista the actor, as opposed to wrestler turned actor Dave Bautista, which is something that will probably always haunt Dwayne Johnson and John Cena.
