The oppressive atmosphere of the book is transposed very well in this movie, even if I figured different mountains while reading (the Dolomites in the movie give a sense of lightness, but this isn't a big fault). It isn't an action movie - more a psychological thriller - and it's clearly inspired by Italian real crimes (our unabomber, Cogne, the murder of Yara and so on), and it focuses on the power of media.
I liked it more than The silence of the lambs (people who saw both can understand my comparison, even if the main characters have opposite personalities, just think of the investigators Jodie Foster and Toni Servillo). Your thoughts?
