Probably the two best and most beautiful scores of 2017.
From Phantom Thread, composed by Jonny Greenwood:
From The Shape of Water, composed by Alexandre Desplat
Which one is your favorite?

Phantom Thread, which is my win.
I liked the score for The Shape of Water, bit it doesn't make my own Top 5.

My two favorite scores of the decade (may be falling victim to the recency effect). I can't choose probably Phantom Thread just due to the bombastic nature of it especially during the omelet scene

Desplat's score is lovely and suits his film so well, but any answer that isn't Jonny Greenwood is just flat-out wrong.

Dunkirk is better but the for sake of the poll I'll choose Phantom Thread.

I love Desplat, but Greenwood puts Shape of Water to shame.

Phantom Thread is the best score of the year. I love Desplat, but Shape of Water isn't even close to his best work.

Love both, but The Shape of Water. It's amazing.
