1. Logan - Excellent and properly sorrowful take on the superhero genre, and a movie which title does really describe it quite well since it really is about the character. Best performance Jackman's ever given. And a movie that uses its brutality really well and not just for the sake of it. 8/10
2. Logan Lucky - It's just so mellow. It may not be brilliant or perfect but man, I can just imagine turning this movie on every now and then and just enjoying myself. I still wonder if Soderbergh's self-aware and somewhat detached approach is the best one for this film but I really like this anyway. 7.5/10
3. Lucky - It's very small and might've even felt inconsequential but the wonderful leading performance prevents it from being so and really holds this movie together. Stanton is really terrific here and he just kills you with his smile. Really nice to see some other older actors here too, and Lynch is always great to see on the screen. Pleasantly surprised by how well it looks too. Still, I wish it had a bit more substance to it. 7/10

Haven't seen Logan or Logan Lucky but I have Lucky at currently number 3 or 4 in 2017. Seen it twice, liked it even more the 2nd time.
The movie is so dominated by Harry Dean Stanton that people miss how special the movie is (or, it's the Blue Jasmine effect).
Deceptively simple, but marvelously profound too, it not only has a great Stanton performance (#2 this year) but Lynch, Skerritt, Livingston are deft and rock solid in support. The direction is beautiful and unobtrusive.
When Lynch launches into a speech about why the tortoise is important - a speech that starts absurd and funny and ends with deeply moving connections to us and Lucky the film is deeper than it looks. That is one of 2017's best scenes.

Logan Lucky and Logan are mediocre. The former needs a rewatch.
Lucky is great. One of the best of the year, with the best performance of the year.

Logan Lucky is great fun all the way through. A joy to behold Logan has a lot on its mind, but is hampered by the X-Men trappings. I'm all for fantasy movies tackling real human stories, but there's a divide between Logan's relationships with Charles and Laura, and all of the action and mutant stuff. There's a great film underneath the clutter and Patrick Stewart is Oscar worthy. Haven't seen Lucky yet.

Logan Lucky. I think the cast ( with the exception of Swank ) is what makes the movie works, and I like the idea that Soderberg came back with Ocean's 11 with a different point of view. It has some of the best lines and moments of the year.
Lucky. See it just for Stanton alone, but there's a couple of memorable scene and I don't know if it was only me but the movie felt that was happening is a slightly different zone, time, don't know, but in a good way.
Logan. Needs more tunes and less plot holes. After Professor Xavier says goodbye the movie lost my complete interest.
