Seems like this will be the first superhero film since Civil War to top $1 billion worldwide.

It's going to do very well here in Europe too. The special advanced screening I went to was sold out and it was just a Tuesday night.

why do you feel that's hitting widely as well. It's a Marvel film, and this time the type of superhero is ironically bringing everyone together. It's also supposed to be great.

Wow. Good. I'm so glad that it is doing well or else it would have back to the gutter for all black cast movies.

So BP dropped the mic and brought the receipts.
Jumanji heading to $400 mil plus.
The Greatest Showman passes La La Land with no hype whatsoever.

Great, albeit unsurprising, news for Black Panther. Could Early Man actually be underperforming at the moment? Hmm, Jumanji is nearing a $400M... that's really something.

November also seems like a wild card month anyways in terms of box office performances. Even some blockbusters that otherwise felt more like summer releases in November, like superhero films, would be taking quite a risk every time. In JL's case, both wom and having a large budget also didn't help it out much in its favor.
