Well actually this is more for my friend because we were talking about Dracula movies and she said the scene in Coppola's film where the baby is offered up to the Dracula's Brides (I think that's who they are it's been a while) she has to turn away from, it physically affects her...........and she gets very upset about that particular scene (even talking about it). She's never gotten "over" it, though I guess she's "seen the scene" because she knows that scene, not quite sure.
Does anyone have something like this - something you thought you could handle and then it came up in the film and you were like "oh f-this" - maybe something in Salo or is the very fact that you're watching Salo pretty much evidence that you can take all of the material?

The cornfield in Casino. I've probably seen the movie 100 times, and I just can't do it.

Yeah , that scene in Dracula with the baby was disturbing as fuck . Other scenes that were/are still very difficult for me to watch:
-the exorcist : regan stabbing her genitals with that crucifix - eden lake : michael fassbender's character getting tortured by those sick little fucks - the stonning of soraya m : well , the stonning scene -bullhead : the castration scene

Oh my god, yes, that scene from Dracula literally traumatized me as a child.
From The Exorcist, it must be the shaking bed scene.
This will sound a bit funny, but when Fassbender and Diehl shoot their balls off in the tavern scene in Inglourious Basterds, I just can't watch it.

I had to turn off Moonstruck because of Nic Cage, not sure if that counts.

Brandon's abuse toward the end of "Boys Don't Cry", it's tough to watch it all
The rape scene in "The Accused" can be difficult as well

There's nothing fictional I've seen that I couldn't watch, but there's been a few scenes that I remember wanting to look away. I saw Cannibal Holocaust way too young and the massacre towards the end of the film made me kind of sick.

There are two famous scenes that I did not look at the screen during them, but rather hid my eyes on one ane minimized the viewing window on the other:
The horsehead scene in The Godfather Alien bursting out of the stomach in Alien
And I skipped over the whole rape reenactment in The Accused.

Cannot watch the breakup scene in Good Will Hunting, it's an instant fastforward, mute and look away, or channel changer for me. That voice, that face... The horror... The horror...

Usually its scenes involving needles / injections or the slitting of wrists . These types of scenes make me queasy af . For example, The Rules of Attraction where that poor girl slits her wrists in the bathtub just seemed so damn real. Ditto on the one in The Royal Tenenbaums where Luke Wilson's character does the same . Just so realistic and makes me a bit sick. I LOVE both of those films but can't bare to watch those two scenes .

Everyone's saying all these horrifying scenes...
For me, it's the ankle breaking in Misery and the eye gouge in Under Siege.

That Dracula scene is a toughie actually, and while I don't necessarily have one that I "Can't Watch", I do have some that are definitely tough going.
I find the scenes of the beating inflicted on the main character in Martyrs, a real tough watch...they got to me and made me feel hopeless and helpless.

- The 10 minute rape scene in Irreversible.
- The systematic destruction of the village in Come and See.
- The turtle scene from Cannibal Holocaust.
- The cat scene and autopsy scene from Men Behind the Sun.
-And the one that got me when I was a kid was all of the Second Renaissance from the Animatrix.
Those are the only scenes that have really gotten under my skin and made me want to look away.
