For me it's between Brendan Gleeson and Albert Finney. Both masterclass performances.

Probably Lithgow (the scenes with Dillane were tops), although Finney and Gleeson were excellent.

I've yet to see him, but based on just universal praise surrounding his performance I'd imagine it'd be hard to top Lithgow's.

Finney and Oldman for me and they are basically variations of an actor's tone. Oldman's performance essentially is in how to give speeches and why you can fault the film I can't really fault how he acts it out at all. I am sure his performance is a conscious tip of the hat to Finney.
Gleeson is not to far back at all either, it's basically a can't miss role in one way or another.
