After watching 104 films in 2017, pulling over 1,000 clips, and whittling them down to 293...here's my latest tribute to the best the Year in Film had to offer. 2017 was a hell of a year personally, professionally, and especially cinematically. I sincerely hope y'all enjoy.

That was absolutely divine.
Some of these I've seen, some of them all see over the next couple of months, and a few I will probably never watch...but even those few looked special in the manner they were presented.

Thanks so much for the love, everyone!
I'm all too curious. Which ones are you never going to watch?

Whoa, very nicely done! Incredible synchronization. I really dig a lot of your picks as well. "I Get Overwhelmed" is still hands down my personal pick for Original Song this year, it's phenomenal, and I was pumped to hear it put to glorious use here.

Well never say never and all that, but I would imagine these stand a fair shot at passing me by: 9. Song to Song (Terrence Malick) 10. Lady Macbeth (William Oldroyd) 15. Tigers Are Not Afraid (Issa Lopez) 19. Raw (Julia Ducournau) 22. Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Rian Johnson) (this is almost a guarantee as the 1977 Star Wars is the only one I've ever seen)

Excellent stuff! I have a lot of the same films in my 25 as well, though I still have a handful I need to see before it's solidified.

Depending on whether or not you like Malick, Song to Song may be beautiful or insufferable.

Malick films are always beautiful to look at, but they are painfully insufferable; well Tree of Life, To the Wonder and Knight of Cups were anyways. I think I'm through with Malick .
