How many nods do you guys think she'll retire with? Assuming she works into her late 80s and maintains her current awards pace, I'd say 28, with a fourth win somewhere down the line.

Maybe around 30 nods for acting AND an Honorary Oscar for the ensemble of her career .

I could happily see up to 10 of them taken away from her in exchange for a nom & win for Death Becomes Her.

She is an excellent actor, but at this point it's obvious that there is a block of the Academy that votes for her whenever she has a decent role. I'm not saying that most of them aren't deserved. I would even defend her nom for Postcards from the Edge, but i think 15-19 nominations is more that adequate.

Once she gets to 26, they'll want to nominate her until she has 30, then have less enthusiasm to nominate her, which by their standards, is still really really really high.
I'd say 30 noms. Honorary when she's 75 if she hasn't win a 4th yet, then a 4th eventually, and when she dies, a 2 hour moment of silence at the Oscars and a meteor named after her.
