Mine has to be Denzel Washington in Roman J. Israel Esq.
The movie was bad but he was awful. Completely not believable in it! His nomination is absolutely bad, the worst in the category in a looooong time.

Having seen next to nothing yet, the only one I downright hate so far is the Song nod for The Greatest Showman. Fuck that film and fuck that soundtrack.
Sight unseen, though, I know I should give every contender a fair shake and I'm actually very excited to finally see The Post, but as good as I'm sure Streep is in it, her taking up space yet again is pure zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (sorry Tyler please don't hate me xx)

Mary J. Bilge.
I was actually going to fix that typo, but it pretty well encompasses my thoughts on her "performance."

Mary J. Bilge. I was actually going to fix that typo, but it pretty well encompasses my thoughts on her "performance." I learned a new word today. This is actually Streep's best performance in a while, maybe since Doubt, so she absolutely deserved to get in, IMO. Yeah, I've been hearing great things about her, and I'm actually really excited to see it. This material suits her to a tee, and it was about time she worked with another A+ caliber director. (She did team up with Jonathan Demme a couple years ago, but I'm not convinced even she remembers Ricki and the Flash happened.) I'm sure I'll hop aboard this train once I see her performance.

No, but you implied it because you listed all other actors of color who were nominated this year, as though the only thing remotely comparable to each other was their skin color and the fact they were nominated, and then you used the "not like" to make it seem like I was automatically negative towards them. There is literally no other way to take that remark. Quit being an asshole.

You did I would ask how you intended it to come off, but you're just going to deflect, and regardless, everyone else can see the transparency of your comment. Take care.

Still, at least my niece should be happy. I’ll admit, Dunkirk’s got an asterisk attached to it. I’m a stubborn (sometimes even biased) traditionalist at judging scores, as I judge them both in and out of context. In the film, it’s perfectly serviceable (if very on the nose), but on album, I really don’t care for it. And Hans should absolutely be here, but for Blade Runner instead. I’ll just have to accept that I’m alone on I, Tonya. It is my cross to bear.

Whoever the fuck took Franco's place.
I love Spencer but I agree that all her noms are for playing the same character.

Three Billboards for Original Score and Darkest Hour for stealing what should've rightfully been Blade Runner 2049's Best Picture nomination.
