I used to but not anymore. I might end up seeing them all this year but that's because I find this years contenders more interesting than most years. I used to but after sitting through The Big Short for no other reason and hating it I've stopped. Still haven't seen Lion or Fences. I need a second reason to see the film now.
Edit: Not entirely true. I never saw Amour because I don't need that kind of misery in my life

not past nominees, but I've been making a point of seeing all the contenders since 2014 or so. Really just so I can have an opinion and participate in the discussion. I wasn't a big fan of Lion or Fences, but I'm still glad I watched them, if for no other reason than I could add Kidman and Washington to my lineups.

In general if I can I'll try but life always gets in the way. It's not unusual for me to go a long while without seeing anything and then catch up all at once.

Not at all. Most years there's at least one film that looks dull/terrible. I like to keep an open mind, but good god do they pick some bland looking stuff.

Usually by the time the nominations roll around, I only have a couple left anyway so I tend to do it. Especially with MoviePass, might as well.
I wouldn't say I've ever regretted it, per se, but generally those last few that I wouldn't have seen otherwise do tend to leave my head pretty quickly. Very rarely do they actually become favorites.
This year I just have The Post to see, which I would have gotten around to, anyway.
