I just can't understand how Steven Spielberg watched back The Temple of Doom and thought to himself "I am going to marry that woman".

Well no shit.
At least half of Hollywood was either born into it or fucked their way into it.

HELENA BONHAM CARTER when she was married to Tim Burton . I mean , of course she already had a brilliant career before she met him but I clearly remember people b!tching and moaning about him constantly casting her in his films , always giving her the best parts , etc.
ps : I believe that marrying Tim Burton has definitely increased her popularity.

She was never married to Tim Burton technically. They were just together.

I love Rebecca Pidgeon - I mean that sexually - is that wrong now? - Um...........whatever!!
A lot of people think she can't act at all - but come on, that scene in Homicide when she overhears Mantegna's phone call and then exposes him as the nothing that he really is, is one of the greatest scene's in all of Mamet.
Don't care, love her.....

Don't care, love her..... She's fabulous. Her spider woman in The Spanish Prisoner is quirky, coy, intelligent, loquacious, nefarious. It's the femme fatale of the neo noir (Linda Fiorentino may have a film or two which could mount a formidable argument, and Virginia Madsen is impossibly impressive in The Hot Spot). Naysayers should have been silenced by Mrs. Mamet's brief, film-stealing scene in Edmond opposite William H. My favourite of Mamet's clique. I adore her.

That woman that married Joel Coen then ended up in a few of his movies. What the hell is she even doing these days?
