Well, I haven't seen The Shape of Water, but between the two of them I think I can safely say I am rooting for The Shape of Water.

Between those two, The Shape of Water by far. Overall, also The Shape of Water because Coco and Blade Runner 2049 don't have a chance of getting nominated

Out of those 2? EASILY TEAM THREE BILLBOARDS! It's my #3 of the year and "Shape" is my #9.
Out of the likely BP nominees? EASILY TEAM LADYBIRD!! My #2 of the year and it's a very CLOSE second.
Out of ALL 2017 films? My #1 of the year: BLADE RUNNER 2049.

I don't really have one this year.
I haven't seen The Shape of Water, but I'd be pleased to see Guillermo get recognized in general.
Dunkirk is an excellent film, one that I'm pleased hasn't received much of a backlash, but I know it's got no real shot at Best Picture at this rate.
I genuinely enjoyed Three Billboards and would find it a fine, if imperfect, choice, but at this point I'm more keen to see it win because of how bent out of shape a lot of people here and elsewhere are getting in light of its awards run.
I'm cool with Get Out being Best Picture. It isn't my favorite movie of the year, but it's a damn good one, and for a satirical horror film about brain transplants and racial body-snatching released in February to be a Best Picture winner tickles my fancy.
I didn't like Lady Bird, I don't like Greta Gerwig, and if there's one major contender I don't want to see win anything (sorry, Saoirse), it's this one. But even so, I get the political importance of a film about women made by women being anointed and on that score, that's fine, but there are better alternatives this year for that.
