In (dis)honor of Justin Timberlake's horrific, nearly film-destroying sabotaging of Wonder Wheel. Fucking die in a fire. What films have pitch-perfect ensemble casts save for one sore thumb sticking out and bringing the whole project down with them? My answer, always and forever: How on earth did McCarthy see the lovely work that everyone else in the cast was putting up, then look at what this guy was doing and think "sure, this belongs in this film"? Easily the worst nominated performance of the decade for me, and one of the worst overall.

I really didn't think any of the acting/characters in Spotlight were that interesting aside from maybe Stanley Tucci who wasn't in it that much. That's why I found it fairly non-engaging emotionally despite the subject matter.

Whoa whoa, I really liked Reeves in Much Ado About Nothing. He was one of the funniest actors in the bunch.
For me, the first one that comes to mind is Steve... Carell and his... stopping to... breathe in... the... middle of... every sen...tence in... Foxcatch....er.

Ruffalo in Spotlight has to be it. The simple notion that he got a nod over Keaton or Schreiber is mind-blowing.

Paul Walter Hauser is why I can't call the cast of "I, Tonya" fully terrific.

Spotlight: Ruffalo. Dear Christ.
The Big Short: Bale. Gosling and Carell were miles better than whatever twitchy-fuck bullshit Bale was doing.
Magnolia: Julianne Moore.
Detroit: John Krasinski.

Honestly , none of them was extraordinary . Brad Pitt was the most "tolerable" one .

Whatever actor played the son of Jon Lovitz in Rat Race One of the things I always loved most about this place and the former board was the seemingly unanimous love for Rat Race.

I think the major thing it has in its favour has always been that it succeeds where so many comedies fail; in that it is actually funny.
