This year, what would be more shocking for you when nominations are announced?

Of these I've only seen Lawrence (nothing special, endures a lot, yawn) and Winslet who is flat out great and along with Storaro the best thing in the uneven, hit or miss Wonder Wheel. She either flat out deserves a nod or should be in the discussion but she's unfairly paying the price for being in a Allen film (Storaro too - his work is staggeringly effective). Now having said that I do think Williams and Bening are actually more in the race......along with Chastain and Robbie and Streep. I don't think Robbie or Streep are certain lock. There's 2 spots left those 5 are all in it with Robbie and Streep being the faves (and Ronan, Hawkins, McDormand as the locks)

Man, I'd love for Lawrence to get nominated, but there's no way it happens - I'd say she'd be the most shocking.

I guess I'd be more shocked at Winslet getting in for a Woody Allen joint at the height of the current controversial climate than any of them.
