I'm talking when you were five, six years old. Do they hold up at all?
I'm watching Beast Wars right now and having a blast. Four episodes in and having a grand time reliving the halcyon days of my youth (although I'm waiting for my favorite character of Airazor to get introduced... I'm pretty sure she was one of the later additions to the cast, but 7 year old me was madly in love with that girl). I was afraid going in that I wouldn't care for it, but this is actually loads of fun.

I was afraid going in that I wouldn't care for it, but this is actually loads of fun. Rattrap and Dinobot where my favorites. I love how Dinobot is a "good guy" that spends every second of every episode fucking with someone. He doesn't care who, he just wants to screw with someone's head, on his side or the enemy's. The best moment so far involved Rattrap: Optimus needs cover fire and Rattrap refused to leave the rock he's hiding behind in fear of getting shot... so Rhinox lifts him by the neck and forcibly carries him out of cover, telling Rattrap that if he doesn't shoot someone now that he'll get fried anyway.  Right now, I think they're my favorites as well. Rhinox is also pretty cool, in that he's sort of a laid back version of Dinobot: he doesn't bother screwing with his team because they're so dysfunctional that he can't make things any worse, but damn does he enjoy smirking in the background whenever someone is planning to do something stupid.  |

Beast Wars was so rad. Beast Machines wasn't quite as good but it still was a worthy follow-up.
Hey, Arnold! holds up, man. Shame the Jungle Movie stunk.
