- Blade Runner 2049
- Dunkirk
- Mudbound
- Darkest Hour
- The Shape of Water
Which is exactly the line-up I'm predicting at the Oscars.

Yeah, that looks about right. With that said, I really wasn't crazy about Mudbound's cinematography; it's a damn shame they couldn't recognize their first female cinematography nominee last year with Natasha Breier. But Morrison is working the circuit.

I'm all in for a first female cinematographer being nominated but I wish it were Mandy Walker for Tracks which I thought was some damn extraordinary work. Or yes, Breier indeed.

I’m really happy he’s making waves, but the closer we get to Oscar night, the more I fear that they’re gonna shaft the Deaks yet again. If that happens, there needs to be rioting. it's a damn shame they couldn't recognize their first female cinematography nominee last year with Natasha Breier. That was good and all, but I don’t blame them for the epilepsy clubs alone. My eyes hurt after those.

Glad that Delbonnel got a nod. Hope he gets an Oscar nomination too.
