I still don't think so but she's got just as much chance as, say, Haddish, at gaining that fifth spot.

My heart says yes, my brain says no. I do think she could end up being the surprise nominee this year though... esp. with that BAFTA nom.

Now that BAFTA has had their say, I'll say that she's dangerously close, but I wonder if Scott Thomas might be feeding off of the same voters.

Metcalf and Janney are in. The Shape of Water is turning into this year's juggernaut, so Spencer seems a safe bet for the third slot. The last two are up for debate. Blige has SAG and the Globe, but she also has Netflix, and I feel like there would be more discussion of her breaking that particular glass ceiling if it were going to happen. Hunter is a previous winner with SAG love. Manville and Kristin Scott Thomas both have BAFTA love, and I always think that the British bloc determines one nominee in a category. Haddish has buzz but it seems to have slowed with no major precursor at her disposal. I'll tentatively say Manville and Hunter, but it could easily be another combination entirely.

I'm predicting Janney, Metcalf, Spencer, Manville and Hunter. I have the exact same lineup minus Manville . I'm currently predicting Blige instead of Manville .

Man is unhappy because he doesn't know he's happy. It's only that.
