1. The Lion in Winter (The best acting ensemble... ever?) 2. Romeo and Juliet (Lush, erotic - my favorite Shakespearean film adaptation) 3. Rachel, Rachel (The best Bergman film not directed by Bergman) 4. Funny Girl (Streisand is aces - the film around her is just fine)
N/S. Oliver!
Go for it!

1. The Lion in Winter 2. Romeo and Juliet 3. Oliver! 4. Rachel, Rachel 5. Funny Girl
The first two are more than deserving, the third and fourth are solid but I wouldn't nominate them for Picture, and I don't care much for the last.

1. Romeo and Juliet 2. The Lion in Winter 3. Funny Girl 4. Oliver NS: Rachel, Rachel
All good movies, but the first two are the only ones deserving.

1. Oliver! 2. The Lion in Winter 3. Rachel, Rachel 4. Funny Girl 5. Romeo and Juliet
All excellent, but an even better line-up would be 2001 replacing Romeo and Juliet.
