I thought 2017 was overall pretty good for movies. Lots of stuff yet to see but I'm happy with my Top 10 at the moment. What are some of your 2017 favorites and least favorites before the year is done?

The Fate of the Furious (H/M to Thor: Ragnarok)

The Fate of the Furious (H/M to Lady Bird)

Dunkirk tbh

I feel like I need to finish all award season films before making a Top 10 but I can already claim that the most underrated of the year was "Brad's Status" (HM: "Ingrid Goes West" and "Wind River"). Most overrated would probably be "I, Tonya".

Overall , I'd say it was a pretty good year for film . Wonder Woman was the biggest surprise for me (esp considering DC's recent track record ).
The Last Jedi was the biggest disappoint .

Life and It are the only movies which I couldn't care less about.
Most underrated: The Glass Castle, definitely.
Most overrated: It.
Funniest: Bareilly ki Barfi and The Disaster Artist
Scariest: Annabelle: Creation.
Surprise: Kong: Skull Island was so much more fun than I'd expected.
Disappointment: The Big Sick.
Theatre Experience: Hindi Medium.

the mo-cap in Planet of the Apes. I can finally say that with confidence, although Blade Runner comes close for its gorgeously-textured intersection of high technology with urban poverty and disillusionment.

early shot in Wonder Woman: a young Diana falling off a cliff falling toward the camera...yeesh)
