1968: I haven't seen the first one.

1969: They Shoot Horses!!!

1970: eh... I'll say Patton... the other two did not impress me upon rewatch.

1971: Claire's Knee (NSFC)

1972: Cries and Whispers (NYFCC)

1973: Actually haven't seen Day for Night

1974: Need to rewatch Amarcord, I might end up finding that the best of those though.

1975: Barry Lyndon (NBR)

1976: Idk, I find them about all equal

1977: Annie Hall (NYFCC, NSFC)

1978: Days of Heaven is crap. The Deer Hunter is overrated. I'll take Interiors over both

1979: Manhattan (NBR)

1981: I don't remember any that well

1982: sounds like none, but Tootsie if I had to choose.

1983: Seen too few

I got through all years and marked one point for every circle, which I thought made the best choice that year, leaving off years a) in which I hadn't seen the majority of movies mentioned or b) in which two (or more) of the choices are so close in my opinion that I didn't care much if this or that won.
NBR and NYFCC both got 19 points, with LAFCA (which is running a few years less) at 10 points and NSFC 8 points.

Nice. NBR have gotten soft over the years but they were actually quite interesting in the 40s and 50s (before the beginning of this list.)
