JangoB buddy, where you at? I give him credit, it’s cool to hear him go back to his Nedry sound, and I know it’s unfair given this is one track in a (I’m just guessing, but this is Spidlberg’s default length) 2 1/2 hour movie, but I’m a bit disappointed.

I fucking knew he'd go back to the JFK sound for this one! Oh and welcome back, John Williams synths I really like the sound of that. Not my favorite JW track or anything but it's that good old tension that I love so much and that should work perfectly within the film itself. The movie is just 2 hours this time btw. The soundtrack is out there and I'm really tempted to give it a listen. At least some of it

Gave the soundtrack a bit more of a listen - it's obviously gonna be one of those subtler and more restrained Spielberg/Williams collaborations. But it's still high class stuff. Nothing too new or particularly extraordinary but real solid Williams nonetheless. The score has an air of paranoia around it which should fit the movie like a glove, and the more tender passages are beautiful. Kinda low-key goodness. But maybe "The Last Jedi" will be the better Williams score of 2017. I need to see how this one works within the movie.

It's good, but definitely more of an "atmosphere" score. Given that Williams is one of the last guys doing big bombastic melodic scores and that the big subject matter sort of calls for one I guess I was hoping for something a little different. Definitely tense, though. I think it gives us a preview of the movie's vibe.
