And the embargo supposedly doesn’t lifts ‘til midnight.
Like, wow. I knew there was a chance that it wasn’t gonna be all that good, but the fact that they seem to have no confidence in this is surprising. I know other people wrote it off immediately (but that’s based on trailers, and our reactions to trailers can hardly be trusted), but I didn’t see this as a potential bomb.

It's apparently supposed to be not very good. Looks like it could be the true stinker of the Hollywood season, aside from Father Figures. Yikes!

Fox bought nods. It drives me crazy when the globes gives nods to movies with horrible reviews.

I remember I had Jackman, Winslet, Stuhlbarg and Foy as the winners early in the year. I should do this for a living.

It’s off to a 40%-ish start. I think it’ll still be a modest box office success and maybe (a not very certain maybe) snag noms for costumes/makeup/production design.

Wow, I'd hate to be the guy that drafted it in fantasy league.

Wow, I'd hate to be the guy that drafted it in fantasy league. Well like Sharbs said, it's still gonna get those token musical nods anyway (because it is actually a musical in a category filled with non comedies and non musicals).

quetee This could also be Fox's way of trying to achieve a swansong out of something for the awards season, post-acquisition. But yeah... I think those noms are going to look a lot questionable now for supposedly being a subpar movie.

Well reviews aren't as bad as I thought they would be, I'll say that.
