hmmm, if disaster artist hangs on, it looks like a 50mil dollar grosser. I'd say around 40m. It'll probably deflate a bit this weekend, since it already has a limited fanbase, though the fact that it's done as well as it has regardless is great.

People are underestimating the potential of The Diastee Artist imo. A lot of people have been excited about this movie for quite awhile, even if they haven’t seen The Room (like my Mom for an example).

Why is it sad? Small movies are making money. I meant Shape of Water, was hoping it'd be bigger. The Shape of Water's number is terrific given its theater count.

So congrats to Wonder for crossing $100 mil dollars. It appears that the holiday season has been nice to Daddy's Home 2 and Murder because those two should cross $100 too.
So besides Star Wars, what else will make $100 mil?
I'm thinking The Post, Pitch Perfect 3, Jumanji. I'm not sure about Downsizing at this point. Anyone think any of the smaller movies will cross $100 mil?
