Choose and tell us who is winning in your opinion.
Edit: I also think Denzel is winning his 3rd.

I voted for Ali, but they're the 4 winners.

The only one I don't see losing at all is Davis. I chose Affleck 'cause I'm actually predicting Denzel for the upset, but Huppert and Patel aren't out of the realm of possibility.

I think Portman has a strong possibility of winning.

I'm confident enough in Denzel that I don't consider Casey to be the frontrunner anymore (Silly, I know).

I think Portman has a strong possibility of winning. She lost SAG, BAFTA and the Globe. She's done.

I'm still thinking we'll hear Affleck's name but if there is one it'll be him imo. Ali isn't safe but at the same time, I just can't see Patel winning, the others in that line-up (except Hedges) could be surprises but I don't see it.
For me Stone and especially Davis have as good as won.

I picked Affleck, though I'm predicting Ali to get upset as well.

I don't see anyway that Davis loses, but I think it's possible the other three frontrunners could lose. I think Stone probably wins because she won almost all the televised awards including the big two, in the likely Best Picture winner, "it" girl, etc., but I do think that Huppert has more passion than someone like Riva did despite Riva being in the better received film. I'm probably just letting the pundits get to me too much in the final stretch, but I am bracing myself for Stone to lose and perhaps La La Land not winning as many Oscars as I thought it would. Ali is probably safe too with his SAG win and his plethora of critics awards, but he's not as safe as Stone. Lion is peaking at the right time, and neither Moonlight or Manchester by the Sea ever got enough momentum to challenge La La Land for Best Picture. With Affleck, I think he ends up winning in the end, but it will be close. Washington definitely smelled blood in the water after SAG and has been very charming on the campaign trail, but with SAG being his only big win, I worry it may not be enough. Although if anyone can do it with only SAG, Washington certainly can.

Is Casey really considered the front-runner? Denzel is winning.

Is Casey really considered the front-runner? Denzel is winning. Casey has won of the most major awards, so yes he's considered the front-runner. Most pundits are predicting him as well.

Probably Patel. I think all predicted winners are going to win though.

Is Casey really considered the front-runner? Denzel is winning. Why would you be confident in that statement? Just because he won SAG? At the very least it is a 50/50 race.

What if none of them do? Imagine...
Washington, Huppert, Patel, Davis
(Davis' win is absolutely non-negotiable so that doesn't count)

Casey Affleck isn't the front-runner though. Regardless of personal predictions and Affleck's still ok chances for winning, as of SAG, Denzel Washington is the front-runner even if we all think they're close.
For actual front-runners who might end up losing, I'm going with Mahershala Ali. Washington can also lose, and he doesn't have as much as a lead as Ali has, but I feel supporting actor is ripe for an upset this year.

Viola's a lock. Emma seems safe enough but Isabelle's narrative would be intimidating to most.
Mahershala struggles with low screentime, his win wouldn't be the easiest to make him his film's reward, whereas he faces a previous face of a BP winner who could very well be the best way to reward an arguably top 5 film.
Is Denzel not the new Actor frontrunner...?
