Hermione Granger No.1 and Clarice Starling no.24? ew Clarice should be much higher but nothing wrong with Hermione being No.1

This list is as terrible as any other poll of favorite characters. Clarice Starling, Annie Hall, Scarlett O'Hara, and even Holly Golightly being behind Rey and Katniss is a joke. Being in cool action sequences isn't the same thing as character development.
Then there's all the great classic characters that didn't even make the list (Mrs. Robinson, Madeleine Elster, Margo Channing, exc) so they could have a bunch of Strong Female Characters who Aren't Like Most Girls because they fight bad guys in front of a green screen, plus some sitcom characters (Lucy being on there is fine, though). The fact that this was decided by industry figures should tell everyone why Hollywood sucks. Cranky old man rant over.

That list is a hot mess. Nice that Xena made it though.

No Mrs. Doubtfire? Instant flop of a list.
But really, this whole list is so arbitrarily arranged. How could they not include Lisa Simpson? She's one of the best female characters from any medium.
