Who's your choice of the nominees?
Joan Cusack, Working Girl Geena Davis, The Accidental Tourist Frances McDormand, Mississippi Burning Michelle Pfeiffer, Dangerous Liaisons Sigourney Weaver, Working Girl
I'd rank them...
1. Pfeiffer 2. Weaver 3. McDormand 4. Cusack 5. Davis
Weaver, McDormand, and Cusack's rankings are basically interchangeable...

Those were truly scary times. Its still haunting 50+ years later. It's still scary there to be honest. There just still feels like a great divide. I don't know the time period, I wanna say the late 70's but my mother as well as hundreds of other blacks were discriminated against by the State. She as well as the others were given a different test(how they knew you were black) and told that she failed. Someone found out about it and there was a civil action suit against the State. Sad that an entire State decided to that to college educated people. She was simply told she failed the test.
