The most wide open catagory in terms of nominations? Dunkirk and Shape of Water seem like safe bets but after that I have no freaking clue... Seems like they could just go with any film in the hunt for Best Picture (Three Billboards, Darkest Hour, The Post, CMBYN) or with a popular money making genre film. (Get Out, Blade Runner, Star Wars, Baby Driver, Logan). I, Tonya gives out a David O'Russell vibe and his films do well here. Right now I'll guess... (I wouldn't be shocked if nobody that replies here guessed this one exactly right)

money making? Blade Runner 2049? Also if I, Tonya is anywhere near a ORussell film, I'll be disappointed beyond belief

Dunkirk should take this one easily.

I think people are underestimating Baby Driver here. I has the showiest editing of the year by far and being one the bigger hits in a mostly underwhelming summer will make it easier to get noticed. Remember, The Bourne Ultimatum won, so they're not averse to awarding summer action movies, especially ones this acclaimed.

A tough one.
- Dunkirk - I, Tonya - The Post - The Shape of Water - Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
I also have a feeling that Baby Driver might end up here.

That may be true, but Baby Driver has gone mighty quiet on the western front. Part of it might be the Spacey factor, but I simply think it may not have the staying power it really ought to have had. I wouldn't rule it out by any means, and it certainly wouldn't be an undeserving nod, but I can definitely see it getting lost in the shuffle.

Blade Runner 2049 Dunkirk The Post The Shape of Water Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
I think 2049 is going to be a bigger tech contender than people give it credit for, and it is showy enough in the editing department that I think it can get in. I also threw in something ensemble-heavy like The Post which will likely have a lot of cross-cutting.
I wouldn't rule out things like Wonder Woman, Call Me By Your Name or Phantom Thread.
