I think only like a handful of others here have seen The Cremator, could be wrong though.
Also gonna give a shout-out to Witchhammer (1970), another great Czech New Wave film.

very few people seem to have seen Andrzej Wajda's Danton (1983). And I'll never skip an opportunity to plug Revanche (2008), an achingly reflective drama about tragedy and guilt, and Marketa Lazarova (1967), a beautiful and brutal medieval Czech epic.
Another Country (1984) is another one of my favorite films that's also very underseen. And the 1984 adaptation of Nineteen Eighty-Four with John Hurt and Richard Burton deserves a mention too.
And I don't know if it's underseen, but no one talks about My Dinner with Andre (1981) and that's a damn shame.
also The Browning Version (1951) Darling (1965) The Boys in the Band (1970) Fantastic Planet (1973) Breaker Morant (1980) An Angel at My Table (1990) Mr. and Mrs. Bridge (1990) Clean, Shaven (1995) Tomboy (2011) West of Memphis (2012) Let the Fire Burn (2013)

In the White City (1983) - A devastating film by Alain Tanner with Bruno Ganz captivating and heart-breaking as a guy whose life has very quietly, without much fanfare has gone off the rails.
Also The Cremator is a good one which Joaquim mentioned though that one has picked up in recent years - it's a very timely political film - never out of style and a unique film too - very good stuff.

I've never seen anyone else talk about Danton, Another Country, Nineteen Eighty-Four, The Boys in the Band, or Mr. and Mrs. Bridge.

Where did you find Marketa Lazarova? I was trying to watch it months ago but couldn't find it anywhere. on Hulu, back when they still had Criterion movies over there. It's probably been two years since I saw it. I'm sure it's on FilmStruck tho, if you have the money to shell out for a subscription.

One left me a bit mixed, but the other three are all great. (And The Browning Version remake from 1994 is also well worth watching)
