This looks great. It kicks so much "ass" too. Black Panther could be one of the best MCU films yet.

It's funny because everyone is doing an accent...except Michael B. Jordan -- he just couldn't give a shit about that lmaaaaao But this has Andy Serkis so it's a must watch, looks alright I guess

Cool, the costumes are awesome and hopefully the visual effects too. I wonder how much of Forest Whitaker is in the movie

Looks like every other Marvel stand alone...
Also while the rest of us are stuck in the 21st century, Wakanda has been in the 45th for a few hundred years it seems.

Love the use of "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised." I really dig Ryan Coogler, Chadwick Boseman, and Michael B. Jordan so I'm looking forward to this.

The combination of Coogler, Jordan, and Boseman makes this the rare MCU movie that I'll definitely see in theaters, but god DAMN that's a lot of terrible CGI.

Pretty awful music choice. And I'll echo what another poster on here said, lots of cringeworthy cgi (it'll probably be touched up so no real biggie) . I trust Coogler though. he is 2 for 2 in my eyes and I am curious/excited to see what he can do with a big budget .
On a side note, while I do like MBJ as an actor, he'll always be Wallace from the Wire to me (no matter how ripped he gets lol ) .

I guess I'm in the minority (on this site at least) because I think this looks fantastic. Love the Afrofuturist vibe and the entire look of Wakanda, the use of music, and the casting (hopefully Lupita Nyong'o and Danai Gurira get a lot to do). I'm also pretty optimistic about Michael B. Jordan. He's a great actor, has experience working with Coogler, and looks distinct from past Marvel villains. With Taika Waititi and now Ryan Coogler, I'm happy to see Marvel picking unique choices for their directors. Hopefully they're given more creative control than what Edgar Wright was given when he was doing Ant-Man.

Ryan coogler for the win. He will be the first black director oscar winner. Not for this movie, okay.

The best rated MCU film to date, nice!

The best rated MCU film to date, nice! Of course it is. The movie is about a "black" superhero. It may be great, but I'm guessing that many of the rave reviews are from a political standpoint. I mean, look at Wonder Woman. Maybe someone that doesn't despise that film can explain the critical response of that one to me, because my cynical side says that the only reason it got praise was because it featured a "woman" superhero. It's like the Christians praising every "Christian" movie no matter how terrible it is, simply because it aligns with what they already believe.

I'm surprised by all the meh reactions in this thread. I don't even dig superhero movies and even I think this looks cool.
