I'll start with an obvious choice. You can never usually go wrong with Star Wars after all, and this is one of Williams absolute best pieces of music.

Mainly inspired by the new release, I've been (re)addicted to Vangelis' majestic score for Blade Runner again. One of my all-time favorites, but this track in particular is one of the most stunningly beautiful things I've ever listened to:

Right now I will say (since Vertigo is taken) that one of the best is Somewhere in Time. Some of the most effective and heart-breaking music ever written.

Great pick, the score of this movie is amazing. And I don't care what anyone says, this is one of the best horror films of all time.
