Just found out Mystery of the wax museum (1933) is in color and been wondering if I had seen a color film that early. Turns out I haven't. Earliest is Snow White (1937) for me and live action is Curtiz' Robin Hood (1938). I have also seen Phantom of the Opera (1925) but I'm talking about films fully shot in color here.
How about you?

A Star is Born from 1937 is the first full-color I have seen.

A Star Is Born and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, both 1937, were my first introductions into Technicolor from all the films pre-1939 I've seen.

The earliest to me is Mutiny in the bounty (1935). I saw it in color on Turner classic channel! If the man wants to colorize movies, let him colorize movies! It's show business, for God's sake!
