I'm not a huge fan of either, but from what I've seen Baumbach annoys me less.

I generally dislike Anderson (Moonrise Kingdom being an exception), but I've only seen one Baumbach movie, so I can't accurately answer.

Baumbach has 2, bordering on 3 masterpieces, Anderson has 1.
Also Baumbach's newest is going to be way better than Anderson's dog movie.

Moonrise > anything of Baumbach's that I've seen but I've reached a point where I don't think I like Anderson's style anymore (if I ever did?) and I can at least be entertained by Baumbach still.

1. Rushmore 2. The Royal Tenenbaums 3. The Squid and the Whale
Andersons best days are long gone, but Baumbach has never came close to Andersons peak. Anderson by quite a lot.
