The top prize at the Cannes Film Festival has been awarded to the US more than to any other country - which is your favorite of the bunch? Sound off!
Mine - Coppola's (greatest) masterpiece - 'Apocalypse Now.'

I thought you might find this interesting - in Anjelica Huston's memoir, she talks pretty candidly about being on the 1990 jury that awarded 'Wild at Heart' the Palme (with Bertolucci, Fanny Ardant, Mira Nair, etc.). You get the sense that she really didn't care for the film (she calls it "savagely violent" IIRC) - her personal pick would have been Zhang Yimou's 'Ju Dou.' I always love getting the insider Cannes tidbits.
