yawn.... I agree. Gimme something solid.
Obviously TDITWC should be priority #1 for them, and I'd also take FotFM over a Roosevelt film. If DiCaprio actually wants to do this, get it going now with another director.

Leo and Marty will have to work overtime if they want to have all 157 projects they're attached to finished and released before 2030!

Scorsese is tricking Death with all these damn movies he is going to make with Dicaprio. Cannot wait for The Devil in the White City

Scott Bloom? That's the biggest question mark; is he a writer? Ain't he Leo's buddy?
Leo + Scorsese have deals with Paramount (Scor's is thru 2019) so it makes sense they'd have multiple projects in development. This one seems at an earlier stage than Flower Moon and Devil in the White City... so we can only assume it'll be Flower, then Devil, then this. There's also the George Washington proj that Scor mentioned last year; guess that one is off the table for now.

I'll believe it when I see it. If it does happen though, it could have a TON of potential. Teddy lived an interesting life and I hope they cover his Rough Rider years a lot in it. But at this point , I just want to see Leo act again!

I don't understand why they don't just make The Devil In The White City already. Leo as a serial killer directed by Scorsese is box office GOLD, and you'd think Marty would want a money maker after Silence flopped in such epic fashion (I loved the movie btw).

It wasn't good casting when it was announced several years ago, and it isn't good casting now.
Don't get me wrong, DiCaprio's last few efforts have been the best of his career and he's finally aging out of that boyish image that kept him from being able to fully convince me as those damaged characters he struggled so hard with in the 2000s, but he just ain't Teddy.

This has been in development for a while, hasn't it? I remember it being announced around the time of The Departed anyway. I'll believe it when I see it, but I don't see DiCaprio as being really right for the part.

Who'd be an ideal Teddy to you? Fassbender?. Christ, no. Fassbender would be an even more awful pick. A young Nick Offerman would be optimal.
