Are you anticipating this project? The buzz surrounding it is suspiciously quiet, but the cast is so stacked. Saoirse Ronan, Annette Bening, Elisabeth Moss, Corey Stoll, Mare Winningham, Brian Dennehy... I'm drooling. The stills that have been released from production look lovely... Please, share your thoughts! Any news you can share?

Yeah, I was certainly excited for this. But there hasn't been any news on it. And I mean at all. I don't even know if it's suppose to be out this year or not.

I've heard about this movie before. It'll be based on Anton Chekhov's famous play. The stills look nice, but there's still no recent news about it.

I always forget this is/will be a movie. I always think Ronan moved to Broadway when this project is brought up.

I decided to read the play for the first time in my anticipation for this film. The Bening is perfectly, spectacularly cast as Arkadina - her performance is going to be incredible. Envision a luxuriously frocked hurricane.

There is a showing of this at the Film Society theater in Minneapolis. I didn't even know this showing was happening until now! Got my ticket, no idea what to expect

Due to circumstances beyong my control, (impulsivity and inattention to detail) I purchased tickets to the 'Stage on Screen: Russia' series which was a filmed play of The Seagull that was all in Russian that I didn't attend due to the fact of not having 5 1/2 hours to spare. Is that trailer a joke? It feels like something CollegeHumor would have cooked up.
