Oscar. 1. Witherspoon 2. Huffman 3. Knightley 4. Dench 5. Theron
Number one is great and deserved it, she gives a whole spectrum of who she is and I'd say it's all to her credit because that's a supporting character, she should do more period films, she fits perfectly. Huffman is faultless, she just have to deliver the lines in the right tone, there's no way se could do it wrong, as bright as Knightley is, there's something off with her performance, she gives the character mannerisms that doesn't feel natural to the character, Dench is fine and Theron is in hallmark mode.
Q'orianka Kilcher, The New World ** Sarah Polley, The Secret Life of Words Julia Jentsch, Sophie Scholl, Final Days Natasha Richardson, The White Countess Rachel Weisz, The Constant Gardener Julianne Moore, The Prize Winner of Defience, Ohio

2005 is such a weird year for me.... '06 is when I started following the Oscars and really watching everything, so I have great gaps this year so my lineup is funky but I kinda dig it and need to post to get some Watts in this thread. My winner, a game and brilliantttt perf. Naomi Watts, Ellie Parker * Juliette Binoche, Cache Lee Young-ae, Lady Vengeance Diane Keaton, The Family Stone Rachel McAdams, Red Eye/Family Stone
