Doesn't look like my cup of tea, but I could see Williams and Spacey getting into the awards mix. Probably not much else beyond that.

All the Makeup in the World.
I wonder if Spacey can emerge as a Supporting Actor contender. And let's see how the film itself does. Lord knows that Adapted Screenplay category needs some juice.

It looks good but really, Mark Wahlberg looks really out of place here.

Amazing news! Should have just cast someone age appropriate (especially one of the GOATs) in the first place!

That's actually amazing. Does anyone know how much screentime Getty has? Because for them to try and pull a move like this one month before the release, with a final cut locked down and millions already poured into the marketing campaign, it mustn't be very much.

I was thinking that. It would probably be hard if he had major scenes Wahlberg or Williams, so he’s probably separate from the majority of the film with some major scenes here and there.

I love this. Any work for Christopher Plummer is a plus in my book.

No idea how much screetime Spacey has but Deadline said it only took 8-10 days for Spacey to film his scenes and he only appears in the trailer at the end, so probably not much. Plummer is a great choice and hopefully the filming won’t be so rushed that he can’t give his 100%.

Yes, I guess this has happened when an actor has died unexpectedly, but I've never heard of this happening due to a scandal. I agree with Viced that they should have just hired Plummer or someone age appropriate in the first place, but I'm happy that Plummer is given more work and that this film won't get buried because that would be unfair to the other cast members and to the crew that could possibly in awards contention for the film. OT: I wonder if I should include Plummer in my predictions now.

The backstory of shooting & re-shooting this film deserves to be a film in it's own right.

That's only fair. I take Plummer over Spacey. The team behind this movie has some huge balls, I respect them

Salute to Ridley Scott. He said "Kevin Spacey is not about to fuck up my movie. Damn that."

I'm actually very happy about this, delighted in fuck. The one thing keeping me from fully anticipating the movie (apart from fucking Mark Wahlberg) was horribly miscast Kevin Spacey was -- way too young, hammy and caked in prosthetics. So glad they found someone age appropriate and perfect. I wish this would teach Hollywood a lesson to cast APPROPRIATELY and not based on stardom... It's also hilarious looking back at the trailer, the way it's presented like Kevin Spacey's presence is some sort of superhero reveal, and the way it lingers on him at the end: "Take note bitches, he's going for a 3rd Oscar."
