Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mike Bill Hader as Ritchie I'll update more later, but I want to see some suggestions!

Henry Thomas as Bill. Bryce Dallas Howard as Beverly. Jason Ritter as Ben (in honor of his father) Macon Blair as Eddie. Bill Hader as Richie. Gbenga Akinnagbe as Mike (although Andre Braugher ten years ago IS my Mike Hanlon).
With Jessica Chastain as Audra. As for Stan, it depends on how they'd approach his presence and character before I go into it.

For whatever reason when I heard they're doing Ch2 I thought 'alright who could Scoot McNairy play' haha... he kinda looks like the Stan kid.

At first I thought... Why would they be remaking the Jimmy Caan/Marsha Mason movie?

Tobey Maguire as Bill Drew Barrymore as Beverly Eric Stonestreet as Ben Ethan Embry as Eddie Bill Hader as Richie (this is perfect casting) David Oyelowo as Mike Eric Christian Olsen as Stan

I don't really know about the others, but it would be an absolute crime not to cast Jessica Chastain as Beverly. The only other person I could maybe see is Amy Adams.

I tried to go with realistic choices. Apparently Warner Bros doesn't want to spend too much money, therefore, big Hollywood names are out of the picture. Feel free to reply with your choices. Colin Hanks as Bill Travis Fimmel as Ben Rachelle Lefevre as Beverly Matthew Goode as Eddie Simon Helberg as Richie Chad L. Coleman as Mike James Badge Dale as Stanley Tika Sumpter as Audra

Big names are NOT out of the picture, EVERYONE wants to see at least somewhat well known movie or TV actors play the adults. And this is a HUUUUGE success for WB, one of their biggest this year, so they'll DEFINITELY put out the cash. Regardless, I dislike practically ALL your choices. Sorry!

You're basing that on nothing. This was a HUGE hit, so they're gonna want part 2 to be BIGGER. Whenever a film is successful, 90% of the time the sequel has bigger names. Too many examples to name.

Saw this on the IMDb trivia page for Chapter Two: With the exception of Gyllenhaal & JGL, I think those are all EXCELLENT choices! Though I'd rather Adams play Bev, because of the stunning resemblance to Lillis.

Chastain is not unlikely at all. She has continuously praised Muschietti ever since working on Mama.

Ten years ago, I'd have said Dermot Mulroney for Bill. Can't unsee Henry Thomas after Stephen's post.
I think I remember hearing something way back before the movie was ever in production about Liev Scheiber playing Ben? That's not bad.
Yeah, Lillis' eerie resemblance to Amy Adams, in both appearance and voice, shouldn't just be ignored, even though she'd be a significantly more recognizable name than 90% of the rest. Could still ring true since Bev is the heart of the Losers Club.
I've always been on the "Hader for Richie" train.
Giovanni Ribisi for Eddie.
Derek Luke for Mike.
Brian Geraghty for Stan(?) Recognizable face, but enough of a side player that they wouldn't have to justify the limited screentime. Plus his characters seem to often carry this inherent wounded/traumatized way about them.

Bullshit! Stop assuming you speak for the majority, the replies to your comment below clearly show otherwise. They want the right actors & the right actors just happen to be well-known. Your suggestions are GARBAGE & clearly show your pathetically shitty tastes. Sourpuss Martin Starr as witty & lively Richie? That MANIAC from WALKING DEAD as Mike?? I'm assuming you're the troll of these boards?

Jacob Tremblay, Gaten Matarazzo, Maddie Ziegler, Millie Bobby Brown, Cameron Boyce, Bailee Madison, Levi Miller, Skai Jackson, Ty Simpkins, Mackenzie Foy, Joey King, David Mazouz, Rowan Blanchard, Sterling Jerins etc. are some of the most popular younger actors/actresses today so yes.

How 'bout John Krasinski for Bill? His attempts at being a dramatic actor so far have been laughable, but compared to Lieberher, he does sort of look the part at least.

Ok, the rest of the cast might be unknown and etc, but it's a given fact that Chastain will play either Bev or Audra. Even the director is talking about that, and I don't think the conversation would get so far if they weren't trying to cast her. Anyway, Chastain did even that terrible Snow White sequel, so does she even have the right do decline this offer?

Chastain was in Muschietti's last film, and she's coyly remarked on some of his Insta/Twitter posts about the film that she's game for playing Beverly. No reason she'd turn it down. I also don't think they'll cast Audra as a dead ringer for Beverly, just to avoid confusion as well as to remove that subplot about the subconscious desire angle. But in my head, Chastain would be a better fit for Audra while Bryce Dallas Howard (the earthier and more natural of the two) would play Bev.
