Hey guys, it's me! I said I'd give up the board life as the time seemed right when the boards went away, but I really miss being able to get feedback from you guys on my short films. So, selfishly, I've decided to join this place for solely that purpose. For anyone interested, here's my newest short film -- a sequel to a comedy I made and posted a couple years ago. I also made a very miniature improvised short film a few months ago that you may enjoy, so I'll put that here as well. Please let me know what you think!

Nah, I'm just kidding.
Really funny stuff... the highlight: "Yes, I'm your brother."
Enjoyed it overall, though it was a bit slight. Ending reveal was a bit lame, but enjoyed the "where are they now" bit.

Thanks, man. Slight's fine with me as long as it's funny. Good to hear from you again!

OH MY GOD!!! :-D
EDIT: That was hilarious. Love the jabs and deconstruction of cheesy buddy movies, and the pure absurdity and deadpan wordplay like out of a Mel Brooks movie. And the fact that you devoted so much time to this seemingly nothing character at the end had me rolling.
Also, maybe this wasn't intentional, but did I detect some Wes Anderson in the static framed shots?

Hey Ryan! Long time no talk. Thanks so much for watching; I'm really glad you enjoyed it. No Wes Andersonisms were intentional. Hope all is well with you!

God, I laughed way too hard at "Give me Five Guys." The first one was fun and energetic, and it's nice to see you didn't lose any of that going into this one. Before even hitting play, I was eagerly anticipating the sound of "Eye of the Tiger". I like the slight turn to the camera when you say the title, like a toned-down version of Craig Robinson's "Hot Tub Time Machine" line. The self-references could have easily fallen flat, but the delivery mostly sells everything. Echo Ryan's sentiment about the random passerby getting a whole biography. I think I left a little something on the other one on its Letterboxd page. Nice seeing you around again, bro!
