I think the mixed reception for this bodes well for Rylance's chances at an afterglow nomination (now that acting nominations for LFF don't seem as likely now). Some are thinking double noms might be more likely now for Call Me By Your Name or The Shape of Water in the supporting actor category, but I'm not sold on that happening yet. I'm also thinking that Darkest Hour might be just the Oldman show and he could overshadow Mendelsohn.

If Blade Runner 2049 is a big hit, he could get the Stallone treatment.
