Saoirse is campaigning already Her 73 questions is one of the more tolerable ones. Most of them are beyond horrendous.

Honestly makes me think this is a Tim Burton movie.
Not in a good way...

That was a thing, I suppose. The production design and costumes are gorgeous, but man, that looked desperately try-hard, saddling Ronan and Robbie with some really naff lines. I'm hoping the finished product doesn't come off like this does here: like a cut-rate YA novelization of a fascinating slice of history starring two great talents unable to elevate it.

Looks...not good. Ronan just isn't very convincing at all, like she's out of her depth. Robbie shows more promise.

Meh. I'm not impressed . Ronan looks pretty solid but Robbie looks miscast AF !

meh, Ronan looks straight-up killer in this. But it looks basically unremarkable other-wise

Oh honey, meh! I expected there to be more dancing in this.
Is it me or does the acting feel too modern for a period drama?
Aside from the costumes, it reminds me of that English show, The Eastenders.

I take no trailers as gospel anymore (and I don’t know when and why that became a thing again), so I’m just gonna hope for the best. But my queen... fierce!

Well... That was something. I hope they don't waste both Saoirse and Robbie's talents... I expect solid work from them, everyone does

This is looking like 2018's Elizabeth the Golden Age.

Looks very Game of Thrones meets YA lit-ish, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Ronan surprisingly looks weird, but Robbie showed some nice things in this trailer.

ugh...this does not look good.
Ronan and Robbie don't hold a candle next to Jackson and Redgrave. I'm not getting the sense of two powerful women caught in a political power struggle, I'm just getting two young women playing dress up and serving YA period realness.

Both look so unconvincing but I hope it's just the trailer and they shine in the movie.

Sorry, I think it looks great. Game of Thrones 2.0. Queen Saoirse ftw.

John Barry makes me feel better. I love that score. Though I like Max Richter's work in general, I doubt the film will have anything as beautiful as it.

The sterile digital look of it is just... But I'm still curious. The two actresses look pretty damn good, looking forward to their performances.

If, rather than doing a serious historical drama, they want to make a costume/court intrigue melodrama (which appears to be the approach), then the movie shouldn't take itself so damn seriously. The key to those kinds of things is to embrace the cheese and just make it fun, as so many of that kind of movie did in the 40's and 50's. I could do without the apparent YA angst regardless, though. Saoirse looks really good as always, so I'll see it just for her. I was really excited about her after Brooklyn, but then I didn't like Lady Bird nearly as much as some people, I'm not excited about Little Women, and then there's this. Hopefully she gets another really good part in a big movie soon. Love those character posters, though. Saoirse's so beautiful.
