sooooooo did people vote Bancroft in leading or what? I'm hoping so because while she's my #2 in supporting, I'd be sad if she was just left off altogether.

Did anyone else vote for my #1? Glenda Jackson as Charlotte Corday in Marat/Sade.

Lorraine Bracco should've definitely been on the list and nice to see someone vote for Ritter in Pickup on South Street. Her last scene in that movie is top notch stuff.

Not bad. Loved seeing Walters and Moore on here. Kinski is a neat, inspired choice as well. I personally prefer Burstyn to Leachman in The Last Picture Show, but Cloris is great enough that I'm fine with her as a top choice.

Yeah, even though Leachman is my #1 in the category, it's crazy to me that the rest of the cast doesn't get the same amount of love. It's my all-time favorite ensemble and they all deserve a spot on here (except Cybill Shepherd, but we'll just let that slide). Eileen Brennan is in my top 10 for the category here as well, and Burstyn isn't in my top 25, but she'd definitely be in my top 50. Shame Ben Johnson or Jeff Bridges weren't even close in the other category this time as both are in my top 25 over there. I'll pray for a Timothy Bottoms surprise over in Lead Actor. Oh, and thanks for not complaining about Walters She's my #3 in the category. Still haven't seen Moore or Kinski's films.

But I have a suspicious feeling that most people had her in Lead, so I'm still hoping she makes it. Seems crazy to just go from a top 10 spot to non-existent on the list, but I guess that's not the only time it's happened this go-round.

Ben Johnson totally deserved to be mentioned in the Supporting Actor poll, even if it was just in the top 50. Incredible performance. The entire ensemble is tremendous, of course -- though I'd personally say that Bottoms is the weak link. And yeah, Walters' peformance is one of my all-time favorites for a supporting actress. The bitching about her placement bothers me, too. I don't have all-time line-ups of my own, but I'm sure she'd rank highly on mine when I do get around to formulating those. And please watch Moore and Kinski ASAP! Tremendous films ( Paris, Texas is one of my all-time favorites) and knockout performances.

And please watch Moore and Kinski ASAP! Tremendous films ( Paris, Texas is one of my all-time favorites) and knockout performances. Funny, I actually think Bottoms is second best behind Leachman and he's the emotional core of the film. I even included him in my Top 25 for Lead Actor. But yeah, Johnson not even making the top 50 - or even Bridges - is crazy. I'm not sure why people disliked her being in the line-up so much when there are others, in the top ten even, that I find are far more undeserving (personal preference of Walters aside). It's not like she's a divisive performance, and it seems the film itself and its ensemble is pretty well-loved, so I don't quite understand the hate. I suppose it's like when Adrien Brody made the ICC Actor line-up for Detachment and everyone lost their shit even though most admit he actually gave a really good performance and their hate was with the film itself. *Shrugs* c'est la vie. Oh yes, I'm sure you know I'm going year by year to catch up, and now that I've seen City Lights, Paris, Texas is the film I most want to see more than any others. Very excited for when I get there.

I just rechecked this to see where Amy Adams landed.
#3???? That's 3 spots too low, hoes.
Only Zeta-Jones and Kinski comes even remotely anywhere close to her in the top 25; and even they're not that close. And among the lower ranked half, Sandy Dennis is her equal and Madeline Kahn is formiddable, but Amy is just untouchable.
