It sounds like part of the reason for the reshoot was to digitally remove Superman's mustatche. Why Superman had a mustache to begin with I may never know.

Apparently it's for the new Mission: Impossible movie and he's not allowed to shave it off. None of this would be a problem if these films had scripts that actually functioned as scripts instead of jigsaw puzzles where they try to find the missing pieces as they're filming them.

Doesn't this basically ruin a big Justice League surprise, though? We all know Superman's coming back, but since they're purposefully keeping him out of the marketing, it's safe to assume they're aiming to make it a big deal when he shows up. Way to ruin a non-existent mystery.
I like it that they'll have a team of CGI people digitally erasing a moustache, though.
Other highlights:
This reminded me of why I'm not looking forward to that Fantastic Beasts sequel. Same goes for the fact that Depp will have more than 0 seconds of screentime.
Cool that 4 months before the release, what they've shot so far is "said to be usable".
And "connective tissue" as in, you know, a plot, dialogue, characters, actual things going on that don't involve an avalanche of mind-numbing CGI and explosions?
There's a guy who knows how to generate positive buzz.

There's a guy who knows how to generate positive buzz. It's like they've shot themselves in the foot so many times, lead's replaced blood. Wonder Woman was pretty much a fluke, wasn't it?

There's a guy who knows how to generate positive buzz. It's like they've shot themselves in the foot so many times, lead's replaced blood. Wonder Woman was pretty much a fluke, wasn't it? I want to believe it wasn't. I think the main issue with these films has been how rushed they've been in development, an issue that is exacerbated by the weird kind of split between wanting the films to follow in the success of the darker, operatic Nolan Batman films while still having the set pieces and fanboy winking of the Marvel films for maximum box office potential. Wonder Woman so far has been the only one that underwent a different trajectory: they've been trying to get that character off the ground for years, her film essentially stands alone with its only explicit connection to the DCEU being a framing device that probably didn't take longer than an afternoon to shoot, and it very much followed the Donner Superman approach but fit it around Wonder Woman's character and what she represents*. Justice League was obviously rushed right after Batman v. Superman so it didn't have a chance to follow that winning example, but hopefully with Johns serving as something of a figurehead these productions can become more orderly for the future. *Which WB doesn't seem to understand is what Nolan also did with Batman. Making the tone dark wasn't what made those films successful, it was taking what Donner did in trying to tell a definitive Superman origin and tailoring it to the elements of Batman that worked best for the character.
