Angel Olsen's "My Woman" is far and away the best I've heard, but I also don't seek out a lot of modern music unless I'm an active fan of the band. I try my best, though.
Others I love:
"A Seat at the Table" - Solange. "Ology" - Gallant. "Awaken, My Love!" - Childish Gambino. "It's Immaterial" - Black Marble. "The Seeker" - Cloud Cult. "I Like It When You Sleep for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It" - The 1975. "Ouroboros" - Ray LaMontagne.
Kudos for the Okkervil River love, though I actually felt this was one of their weaker albums (I understand it was a total change of group and style, though, so I expect more from a follow-up).
