Round 9 was pretty damn good. McGregor started it looking like he was ready to end it, but lost his legs halfway through the round as Mayweather unloaded on him.

Yeah, McGregor was gassed going into the 10th round and had no defense for Mayweather's terrific accuracy so the ref came in to stop it. Overall, that was a better fight than I expected. Also cool that both fighters chatted afterwards and seemed to be good sports over it.

Absolutely no shame in losing to a true great like Mayweather. Class performance from both.

McGregor aquitted himself really well, and his personality is infectious. All of that made for an unexpectedly entertaining bout.

Just watched the fight on YouTube a few hours ago. McGregor did better than I expected. He'd actually be a pretty solid boxer if he worked on his conditioning. It was more entertaining than I thought it'd be. I didn't believe Mayweather when he said he was looking for the knockout against McGregor. Happy to know that he proved me wrong. Good to see them both having respect for each other at the end. W's to both guys.

I told myself I wouldn't watch these two douchebags today but someone dragged me to the local pub. Well people at least got their money's worth more than they often do in these main events, but I felt like the fight didn't really take off until like... the 7th round. You could tell McGregor wanted to do some of his MMA stuff especially earlier on. Overall, not terrible.
