It seems like these two women are at the top of any "love her or hate her" list. Who do you personally prefer?

Tough choice. Hepburn considering her ability to play both comedy and drama so well.

For dramatic roles, Davis. For comedy, Hepburn.

The one who is not like nails on a chalkboard. The one with eyes arresting enough to inspire a hit song.
Queen.

I'm not a fan of either. Davis' acting is really histrionic. However I do love her in Now Voyager.

Davis. Hepburn never lost herself in a character like Davis did.

I like to think that this is Meryl's personal "FU" to Hepburn for the things she said about her. Haha. PromNightCarrie; Allenism

I like to think that this is Meryl's personal "FU" to Hepburn for the things she said about her. Haha. PromNightCarrie ; Allenism Hepburn was entitled to her opinion about Streep. It wasn't an unheard of opinion that she gave. I would rather watch Streep than her though. But to my knowledge, Bette Davis was kinder to the younger generations of actresses. She praised many of them.
