the country's cooked, education is cooked, GenZ is cooked, the culture's more cynical and disaffected than ever, attention spans are totally shot, tech and corporate oligarchs are stronger than ever, and the country keeps sliding backwards before our eyes. Dark times. I try to see the silver lining in Trump not being able to run again in 2028, but dems look fucking weak tonight and it's going to be an uphill battle in the senate for the next decade or more. No progress on anything, just gridlock and occasional regression.

Keep in mind Mussolini was first and foremost a socialist. His ideology was directed at workers and peasants way more than how it appealed to middle class. |
