Is Cristiano Rinaldo among the best players in the world?
Things you like and despise about him?
Is he now a different player or did he lose a bit of his touch?

Is Cristiano Rinaldo among the best players in the world? -- Things you like and despise about him? -- The only thing I dislike about him is the childish, sometimes petulant way he acts on the pitch when things are not going his way. He sometimes says pretty arrogant stuff, but if he was still playing for Man Utd I'm sure that'd be something that I love about him I think some of his fanbase are a little deluded too, but that's nothing to do with him. What I like about him? How clearly ridiculously hard he's worked to get to the level that he's at, plus this, and the way he was before that shootout in the Euros last year. Is he now a different player or did he lose a bit of his touch? -- Hmm, I wouldn't say I watch him play regularly enough to accurately comment on that, but if he hasn't lost a little at his age I'd be very surprised. I'd say the fact that he's generally playing slightly fewer games than he was a few years ago probably enables him to keep playing at as high a level as possible. Not sure he's ever going to have another played 50, score 60 season again.

Of course he is a great player. But not on the same level as Messi as some claim and you can debate whether he is the second best player of the world. Cause there are the likes of Iniesta, Griezmann, Neymar or Bale as well. Overall I'd probably had given Iniesta that honor before, but he has played a pretty weak season.
I like his work ethics, that is second to none. I dislike his behaviour (not celebrating for goals of his teammates for example), arrogance and his playing style. He is one of the greatest pure strikers ever, but relies heavily on good work by his teammates. There is hardly ever a wow-moment in his game, it's all about his perfect shooting, his instinct for goals and his athleticism. But I usually prefer the more creative and technically more fascinating players, who set up their colleagues with great passes or by dribbling past their oppontents. Overall I honestly have to say I dislike him (particularly sure, because I just think he is not as good as most people claim) despite being a Real Madrid fan, but have much respect for him.
Depends on with which point in time you are comparing him? In the years at Madrid he is basically playing the same. Always in search of the direct way to score, though maybe he is now even more moving into the centre of attack than 5-6 years ago. In Manchester he used to dribble a bit more, but actually I think he was never that great (very good, but not great) in that department and it was wise he left this, because he was (and if he does it still is) losing so many balls with it.

Apparently he wants to leave Real Madrid amid accusations that he's dodged more than 15M in taxes. Interesting....
Bare in mind that he has a $1B (yes $1B) release clause on his contract.

Id rank Neymar ahead honestly. What? You're having a laugh mate. Neymar over a player who's scored 600 career goals? Give over! 😂

What? You're having a laugh mate. Neymar over a player who's scored 600 career goals? Give over! 😂 Neymars work ethic is pretty stellar. Is that your reason for ranking him above Ronaldo? 😑 Neymar is a very good player, Ronaldo is an all time great. They really aren't in the same bracket of class. Have a word lad.

Things you like and despise about him? I like nothing about him because I hate everything about him.
Is he now a different player or did he lose a bit of his touch? Seems to be just as good as usual. Just more of a cunt really.
